Honey Lemon Grilled Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 block (450g) firm tofu
  • Half of a lemon
  • 4 Tbsp agave nectar (maple syrup works too)
  • 1 tsp Tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Preparation

  1. Mix the lemon juice, agave, tamari, and vinegar together and set aside.

  2. Drain the water from your block of tofu.

  3. Slice your tofu into 2-inch slices and then cut them diagonally.

  4. In a medium-high heat griddle pan, grill all of your pieces for 2 minutes on each side.

  5. Coat your pieces with the honey lemon dressing and serve.
