Baked Garlic Chili Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm tofu
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 tsp chili garlic sauce

Preparation

  1. Press the tofu for at least 30 minutes.

  2. Set the oven to 400°F.

  3. Cut the tofu into even cubes.

  4. Place the tofu cubes in a bowl or Tupperware container.

  5. Add 2 tbsp tamari, 1 tbsp nutritional yeast, and 2 tsp chili garlic sauce.

  6. Gently toss together if using a bowl, or seal and shake the container to coat evenly.

  7. Place the coated tofu on a lined baking sheet, ensuring cubes aren't touching.

  8. Bake in the oven for at least 25 minutes or until edges are browned.

  9. Remove from oven and serve as desired.
