Katsu

Ingredients

  • 1 block tofu
  • 3 tbsp sesame seed
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp maple coat

Preparation

  1. Block tofu lightly drained cut into cubes

  2. To a non stick pan on a medium heat add the tofu cubes. Brown on all sides (if the pan is a good non stick it won’t ‘stick’ if it does add a little oil) ✅ once all sides are browned add in 3 tbsp sesame seeds, toast with the tofu for 2 mins. Turn the heat off. ✅ add in 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce coat all the tofu mixing together with the sesame seeds ✅ add one 1 tbsp maple coat again

  3. Add In 5 tbsp nutritional yeast , coat again
