Simple Tofu Scramble

Ingredients

  • 1 block of tofu
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp salt (preferably Kala Namak salt which taste like egg. Be careful to not take too much ?)
  • turmeric powder
  • black pepper
  • parsley or other herbs (optional)

Preparation

  1. Chop the tofu and use a fork or hands to crumble it into bite-sized pieces

  2. Add some oil or water to a frying pan and when it’s hot, add the tofu and all the remaining ingredients (salt, turmeric powder, black pepper and herbs). Stir until well combined and cook over medium-high heat for 5 to 10 minutes. Stir occasionally

  3. Serve immediately (I served my tofu scramble over some toasted whole grain bread, avocado and topped it with fresh parsley, vinegar and soy yogurt) or keep leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week
