Vegan 'Tuna' Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of chickpeas⁣
  • 1 sheet nori seaweed ⁣
  • 2 shallots⁣
  • 1 stalk spring onion⁣
  • a pinch of salt and pepper⁣
  • optional:⁣
  • 1 tbsp tahini or vegan mayo⁣
  • -2 Cups of chickpeas⁣
  • -1 Sheet Nori seaweed ⁣
  • -2 Shallots⁣
  • -1 Stalk spring onion⁣
  • -A pinch of salt and pepper⁣
  • -1 tbsp tahini or vegan mayo⁣

Preparation

  1. Chop shallots finely;⁣

  2. Chop spring onion;⁣

  3. Making seaweed powder⁣

  4. Place dried seaweed into a coffee or spice grinder;⁣

  5. Pulse the grinder until the dried seaweed turn into a powder

  6. Or⁣

  7. You can also finely chop nori sheet with a knife

  8. Mash cooked chickpeas with a fork

  9. Add salt, pepper, shallots, spring onion, seaweed powder, water (2-3 tbsp) and mix to combine

  10. Or⁣

  11. Place cooked chickpeas, salt, pepper, shallots, spring onion, seaweed powder, water in a food processor and process until well combined⁣

  12. Chop shallots finely;⁣
