3-Ingredient Falafels with Flavored Hommus

Ingredients

  • 1 can of Chickpeas (420g can)
  • 1/2 cup Flavored Hommus (such as Coriander, Cumin & Mild Chilli Hommus)
  • 1/2 cup Chickpea Flour
  • Optional: Extra herbs + spices (e.g., dried cumin, coriander, parsley, cardamom, salt, and pepper)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

  2. In a bowl, add the rinsed chickpeas and mash them with a fork, leaving them slightly chunky for texture.

  3. Stir in the flavored hommus and chickpea flour until well combined.

  4. Optionally, add extra herbs and spices of your choice for added flavor.

  5. Form the mixture into desired shapes, such as patties, and place them on a baking tray.

  6. Bake the falafels in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until they are golden brown and cooked through.

  7. Once baked, you can store the falafels in the fridge for up to 5 days.
