Honey Sriracha Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders (about 6-7 tenders)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast (can omit or sub Parmesan cheese)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Preparation

  1. Take 2 shallow bowls big enough to dip the chicken tenders in. Add the egg to one and whisk

  2. Add the coconut flour + spices to the other and mix together

  3. Take a chicken tender, dip in the egg, dip in the flour mixture. Repeat for each tender

  4. Bake at 400F for 10 minutes, flip, bake for 10 more minutes

  5. Check the internal temp of the chicken to make sure it’s done

  6. For the honey sriracha sauce: 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp honey, 3 tsp sriracha, 2 tsp garlic, 1/2 tsp salt

  7. In a small bowl, mix together the honey sriracha ingredients

  8. Brush the chicken tenders with it
