Paleo Buffalo Baked Chicken Tenders

Ingredients

  • 7-8 chicken tenders
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce (e.g., @sietefoods)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.

  2. In two shallow bowls, whisk the egg in one and mix the almond flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and salt in the other. Set aside the hot sauce for later.

  3. Take a chicken tender, coat it completely in the egg, then dip it in the almond flour mixture, ensuring it's fully covered. You may need to dip it in the flour mixture a couple of times. Place the coated tender on a greased baking sheet or line it with foil.

  4. Repeat the process for each chicken tender.

  5. Bake for 12 minutes, then flip the tenders and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

  6. Allow the tenders to cool for a few minutes, then brush one side with hot sauce, flip them, and brush the other side.
