Spicy Vegetarian Sausage Koftas
Ingredients
- 2 Cauldron Foods Lincolnshire sausages
- Encona Thai sweet chilli sauce
- 10g Paxo southern fried crumbs
Flatbread
- 34g plain flour
- 2 tablespoons Fage UK yogurt
- A splash of lemon juice
- Cold water
- Garlic powder
- Chives
- Chilli flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Pop the sausages on sticks.
Brush with Thai sweet chilli sauce.
Dip in southern fried crumbs, then back in the sauce, and again in the crumbs.
Oven cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
Flatbread
Add water gradually to the flour mixture until a dough forms just bordering on the wet side.
Roll out the dough.
Cook in a dry, hot frying pan with lid on; after 2 minutes, add a tablespoon of cold water and the flatbread will puff up.
Keep an eye on it to avoid burning; it only takes a few minutes per side.
Flip and repeat the process.
Optionally, cut it like a pita.
Notes
Assemble with salad as desired.
