Tofu Spinach Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 package tofu, cut into your desire shape
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • Thumb size ginger, thinly sliced
  • 1 scallion, roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp black bean, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp shaoxing rice wine
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp white pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornflour + 5 tbsp of water, combine well

Preparation

  1. Remove from the heat and serve with rice or noodles

  2. Lastly add in the vegetables and keep stirring it till everything well combine. Cook for further 2-3 minutes before adding water as needed

  3. After that add in the fry tofu, shaoxing rice wine, soy sauce, brown sugar, white pepper and cornflour water mixture

  4. Next heat of 1 tbsp oil, once it’s hot add in the garlic, onion and ginger and sauté till fragrant. Then add in the black beans and stir constantly

  5. Heat 2 tbsp of oil, fry the tofu on each side until golden brown and set aside
