Soft and Fluffy Flatbreads
Ingredients
- 300g strong white flour
- 7g packet fast yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 185ml warm water
Preparation
Put the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine, then bring together into a dough with your hand. If necessary, add a little more water, then knead for 5 minutes.
Cover and leave to prove for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
Flour the kitchen top and rolling pin, divide the dough into 6 or 7 balls and roll out as thinly as you can without tearing.
Place each flatbread in a hot dry pan. Cook for around 45 seconds each side. Repeat for each.
Tips
Use the dough to make 5 larger wraps or 7-8 mini ones.
These flatbreads are great for kebabs, wraps, dips, and hummus.
