Soft and Fluffy Flatbreads

Ingredients

  • 300g strong white flour
  • 7g packet fast yeast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 185ml warm water

Preparation

  1. Put the ingredients in a bowl and stir to combine, then bring together into a dough with your hand. If necessary, add a little more water, then knead for 5 minutes.

  2. Cover and leave to prove for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.

  3. Flour the kitchen top and rolling pin, divide the dough into 5 balls and roll out as thinly as you can without tearing.

  4. Place each flatbread in a hot dry pan. Cook for around 45 seconds on each side. Repeat for each.
