Simple Flatbreads with Spring Onions

Ingredients

  • 250g white flour
  • 140g warm water
  • 3g salt
  • 30g spring onions
  • 4 teaspoons sesame seeds
  • A bit of olive oil

Preparation

  1. Slice the spring onions and add them to the flour in a mixing bowl.

  2. Mix the salt and warm water and add it to the flour.

  3. Knead for 5 minutes until you have a smooth ball. Add pinches of flour if needed.

  4. Cut the ball into 4 pieces.

  5. Roll each piece into a small ball.

  6. Flatten each ball with your hand and add 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds.

  7. Roll it into a flat cake about 3-5 mm thick.

  8. Brush the surface with olive oil and cook both sides in a pan over high heat.

Notes

  1. These flatbreads are simple and delicious, pairing well with many dishes.

  2. Served here with honey-caramelized tofu-feta.
