Oreo Cupcakes with Cream Frosting

Ingredients

  • 200g self-raising flour
  • 1 egg
  • 200ml milk
  • 120g brown sugar
  • 60ml oil
  • 40g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Processed Oreos as needed
  • Vanilla essence

Frosting

  • 200g heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons processed Oreos

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 170°C

  2. Mix the dry ingredients together in a bowl

  3. Whisk the wet ingredients in another bowl

  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures and fold in the processed Oreos

  5. Pour the batter into cupcake liners and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until done

Frosting

  1. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form

  2. Fold in the processed Oreos to the whipped cream

  3. Spread or pipe the frosting onto cooled cupcakes
