Fluffy Cake with Creamy Topping
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons margarine or butter
- 1 cup boiling milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Topping
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1 can heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Powdered milk, for sprinkling
Preparation
Get a mixer and place only the egg whites, separating the yolks for later use.
Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Without turning off the mixer, add the yolks, sugar, and butter, and beat until the mixture becomes white.
Add the flour that has been mixed with the baking powder.
After adding the flour, slowly add the boiling milk while continuing to mix, until all milk is incorporated.
Turn off the mixer, pour the batter into a greased and floured pan, and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Topping
In a pan, combine one can of condensed milk, one can of heavy cream, and one tablespoon of butter.
Mix well until the mixture boils, then turn off the heat.
Pour the topping over the baked cake and sprinkle with powdered milk to create a snowy effect.
Notes
Use a 240 ml cup for all cup measurements.
