Simple Vegan Waffles for Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Non-dairy milk
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Toppings

  • Pumpkin seeds (Pepitas)
  • Nut butter
  • Blueberries
  • Maple Syrup

Preparation

  1. You will need a mixing bowl and a waffle maker.

  2. Preheat the waffle machine.

  3. Add flour into a mixing bowl and add the baking powder, salt, and sugar. Mix well. Then add the plant-based milk, coconut oil, and vanilla extract and whisk to remove any lumps.

  4. When your waffle maker is heated, pour out the batter and close the machine. Each waffle maker is different, so check yours to see the amount of batter you need.

  5. Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes until golden and crispy.

  6. Serve with desired toppings.
