Super Healthy Chocolate Waffles ?With a Berry Special Twist

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups gf oat flour
  • 3/4 cup almond milk (room temp)
  • 1/4 cup + 1 tbsp of coconut oil (melted)
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Preparation

  1. Use a large bowl and sift the dry ingredients then add the wet ingredients

  2. Whisk the batter to combine everything. (A few lumps are ok)

  3. Set aside for 10 mins to rest the batter

  4. Preheat the waffle iron

  5. Stir the batter before you pour it into the waffle maker

  6. Cover the mold completely, but don’t let it overflow

  7. Close the lids to make the waffle (25-secs or until you get a crispy waffle)

  8. Shift it onto a baking sheet. Let it cool

  9. Repeat steps 5-8 to make more waffles
