Fluffy Baked Chocolate Donuts with a Tangy/sweet Raspberry Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 2 tsps baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nut/seed butter
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF

  2. Whisk together oat flour, cacao/cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt

  3. In a separate bowl, stir together nut/seed butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla

  4. Add wet to dry, and mix until lump-free

  5. Pipe or spoon into a greased donut pan (if you don’t have a donut pan, they work as muffins too!), filling until even with the top of the pan and smoothing the tops

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 350ºF

  7. Cool for 10-15 minutes before flipping onto a cooling rack

  8. Then cool completely before glazing
