Apple Cider Watermelon Mint Punch

Ingredients

  • 1 Watermelon
  • 3 cans Inch’s Apple Cider (2 for cocktail, 1 for serving)
  • 1 large bunch mint leaves, stalks removed
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • Couple pinches of salt
  • Crushed ice

Preparation

  1. Cut a quarter lid off the top of the watermelon. Best placement is to see what halfway lengthways looks like, then go half of that again to the left to get a good bowl size.

  2. Scoop out watermelon pieces or rounds and set aside, approximately a quarter of the watermelon.

  3. Add mint leaves and blend the remaining watermelon flesh with the leaves until completely blended.

  4. Add lemon juice, maple syrup, ice, and watermelon rounds.

  5. If taking to the park, cut a slit in the watermelon lid to leave space for a spatula for serving.
