No-Strain Two-Ingredient Almond Milk
Ingredients
- 3 cups filtered water
- 1.5 tablespoons almond butter
Optional additions
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (if using unsalted almond butter)
- 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder or cacao powder
- additional maple syrup to taste
- additional almond butter to thicken
Preparation
Add the filtered water and almond butter to a blender.
Blend for 30 seconds.
Blend in 1 cup of ice until chilled.
Serve immediately without straining.
Tips
Use raw unsalted almond butter for a milder flavor and add salt if needed.
For a sweet version, incorporate maple syrup and vanilla extract.
Add cocoa powder and extra maple syrup to create a chocolate variation.
