Baked Shrimp Pasta Casserole
Ingredients
- 400 grams small-sized pasta
- 1 kilogram medium-sized shrimp
- 3 tablespoons corn oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup boiled corn
- 1 cup chopped dill
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon crushed hot pepper
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 170°C and prepare a medium-sized baking dish by greasing it with oil
Cook the pasta and place it in the baking dish
Peel and clean the shrimp, then cut it in half lengthwise to make it thinner
In a large skillet, heat the oil and butter, add the garlic and stir until fragrant
Add the shrimp and stir for a few minutes until it changes color
Add the bell peppers and stir with the shrimp
Add the corn and stir
Add the dill, cumin, paprika, hot pepper, coriander, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper, then stir the ingredients together to blend the flavors
Sprinkle the flour over the shrimp, add the milk, and stir continuously until it boils and thickens
Pour the mixture over the pasta and stir to combine
Sprinkle a generous layer of cheese
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes until bubbly and golden, then serve
