Simple Baked Tofu with Seasoning

Ingredients

  • Firm or extra firm Chinese style tofu
  • Poultry seasoning
  • Salt (preferably popcorn salt)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F

  2. Drain water from tofu

  3. Cut tofu block in half lengthwise

  4. Cut into 1-inch squares and 1/2-inch thick cubes

  5. Place on parchment-lined baking sheet

  6. Sprinkle with poultry seasoning and a little salt

  7. Bake for 15 minutes

  8. Flip the tofu pieces

  9. Bake for another 15 minutes

  10. Optionally, broil for 1 minute if attentive
