Spaghetti Carbonara with Shrimp and Mushrooms
Ingredients
- Spaghetti, as needed
- Olive oil, as needed
- Garlic
- Shallots
- Shrimp
- Canned button mushrooms or sliced shiitake mushrooms
- 1 small box whipping cream
- 1/2 small box full cream milk
- Grated mozzarella cheese, to taste
- Black pepper (Aji-Shio brand)
Garnishes
- Chili flakes (McCormick brand)
- Parsley, oregano, or cilantro, finely chopped (choose one)
Preparation
Boil spaghetti until soft, then drain and set aside.
Pour olive oil into a pan, heat it, and sauté garlic and shallots until fragrant.
Add shrimp and sliced mushrooms.
Once shrimp is cooked, add whipping cream and full cream milk.
Season with salt and adjust to taste.
Add black pepper.
Add cheese. When the sauce thickens, add the spaghetti and mix together.
Serve in plates and garnish with chili flakes and parsley leaves.
