Lemon Lavender Vegan Shortbread Tea Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup earth balance butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon culinary grade lavender
- lemon zest from one lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Finely chop culinary lavender to release the flavor.
Zest lemon and squeeze to yield a tablespoon of the juice.
Stir into the mixture and add more lemon if desired.
Cream butter and sugar, then slowly stir in flour.
Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serve with tea.
