Lazy Chai Speculoos Apple Tiramisu

Ingredients

  • 20 (approx.) speculoos biscuits
  • 1/2 packet of vegan cream
  • 5 tbsp vegan yogurt (oats or coconut)
  • 3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 3 chai tea bags
  • 300 ml of water
  • 1 large apple
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp bitter almond flavor
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Pour hot water into a small bowl, add the tea bags and let them steep for 20 minutes.

  2. Quarter the speculoos biscuits, soften them in the tea and then let them drain. Use this as a first layer and press it firmly into a jar.

  3. Whip the vegan cream until stiff, stir in the yogurt and powdered sugar.

  4. Pour 2-3 tbsp of the cream mixture into the jars.

  5. Remove the core of the apple, cut into small pieces and fry until the apples are colored. Add the maple syrup, bitter almond flavor and cinnamon on top. Roast again shortly.

  6. Layer 2-3 tbsp of the apples in the jars.

  7. Now put another layer of soaked speculoos biscuits into the glasses and finish with a layer of cream and sprinkled cinnamon.

Notes

  1. This recipe makes 4 small or 2 large portions.
