Sugar-Free Brownies with Banana and Cocoa
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/3 cup nut or seed butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or Lakanto sugar-free syrup
- 2/3 cup plant-based milk
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 cup sugar and dairy free chocolate chips
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F and grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed banana, nut or seed butter, plant-based milk, and maple syrup.
Fold in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the center is firm.
Let cool before slicing and enjoy.
Optional: For frosting, mix together 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and sweetener to taste.
