Vegan Salted Caramel Brownies
Ingredients
Brownie base
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 6 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 2 tsp desiccated coconut
Peanut butter caramel
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon salt
Chocolate frosting
- 7 oz vegan dark chocolate chopped
- 2 tbsp plant-based milk
Preparation
In a blender, add all ingredients for the base and blend until fine. Spread out evenly in a tin.
Mix together peanut butter, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla extract and salt and pour over base. Freeze until set.
Melt chocolate and plant milk, pour it over the base and caramel, freeze until set.
