Humble Butterbean Hummus with Tahini and Lemon
Ingredients
- 1 tin of butter beans (I use @bionaorganic - always)
- 1 tbsp of tahini
- 1/4 cup (roughly) of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large garlic clove
- 1/2 a lemon
- sea salt flakes
- cracked black pepper
Preparation
Throw everything into your food processor and blend until completely smooth.
Spoon out into a jar or serving bowl and enjoy.

This hummus is full of healthy fats from tahini and extra virgin olive oil.
It provides a slow-releasing carbohydrate source from butter beans.
It contains a dose of vitamin C from the lemon juice.
