Humble Butterbean Hummus with Tahini and Lemon

Ingredients

  • 1 tin of butter beans (I use @bionaorganic - always)
  • 1 tbsp of tahini
  • 1/4 cup (roughly) of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • sea salt flakes
  • cracked black pepper

Preparation

  1. Throw everything into your food processor and blend until completely smooth.

  2. Spoon out into a jar or serving bowl and enjoy.

  1. This hummus is full of healthy fats from tahini and extra virgin olive oil.

  2. It provides a slow-releasing carbohydrate source from butter beans.

  3. It contains a dose of vitamin C from the lemon juice.
