Marinated Chicken Skewers with Special Sauce
Ingredients
- 750g chicken breast
Marinade
- 100ml olive oil
- 2 tablespoons yogurt
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1/2 onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1.5 teaspoons chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- salt to taste
Preparation
Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
Blend all marinade ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
Pour the marinade over the chicken and mix well.
Refrigerate and let marinate for at least 3-4 hours.
Thread the chicken onto skewers without packing too tightly or leaving large gaps.
Cook in a heated non-stick pan with a little oil, browning on all sides, or bake in a preheated oven at 190°C for 25-30 minutes until golden.
Tips
Serve with sumac onions, tomato salad, and pilaf for a great combination.
