Turkish Diced Beef and Vegetable Skillet

Ingredients

  • 250g diced beef
  • 1 potato
  • 1 eggplant
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper

Sauce

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cumin

Preparation

  1. Peel the potatoes and onions and dice them into cubes.

  2. Dice the peppers into cubes.

  3. Peel the eggplant in a striped pattern and dice it into cubes.

  4. Dice the tomatoes into cubes, then place all ingredients, including the meat, in a baking dish.

  5. For the sauce, place the tomato paste in a bowl.

  6. Add water and spices to the bowl.

  7. Grate the garlic and add it to the mixture.

  8. Mix everything well.

  9. Pour the sauce over the ingredients in the dish.

  10. Place the dish in the oven.
