Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream Bars

Ingredients

  • 300ml double cream
  • 200g condensed milk, cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 50g white chocolate (optional)

Preparation

  1. Add the vanilla and the double cream to a large mixing bowl and whip with an electric whisk for a few minutes.

  2. Fold in the refrigerated condensed milk.

  3. Divide the mixture between 4 popsicle moulds and freeze for 8 hours or overnight.

  4. Gently melt the dark chocolate over a bain-marie and set aside for a few minutes.

  5. Remove the popsicles from their moulds and dip them in the melted chocolate, ensuring they are completely covered.

  6. Place the popsicles on a tray covered with baking paper and return to the freezer.

  7. In the meantime, melt the white chocolate over a bain-marie and transfer to a small piping bag.

  8. Get the popsicles from the freezer and drizzle with the white chocolate.

  9. Enjoy!
