Creamy Homemade Frozen Yogurt with Fresh Toppings

Ingredients

  • 1 kg cream yogurt (10% fat) or Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 150 g sifted powdered sugar
  • 200 g heavy cream
  • Fresh fruit and toppings of choice

Preparation

  1. Mix the yogurt, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and powdered sugar until creamy

  2. Whip the heavy cream until stiff and fold it into the yogurt mixture

  3. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe, airtight container and freeze for about 4 hours

  4. Stir the mixture with a fork every 30 minutes to break up ice crystals

  5. The frozen yogurt is ready when well frozen and still creamy

  6. Garnish with fresh fruit and toppings and serve immediately
