Creamy Yogurt Bomb with Fresh Berries

Ingredients

  • 500g plain yogurt
  • 100g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 400g heavy cream

For garnish

  • 250g fresh mixed berries (such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)

Preparation

  1. Mix the yogurt with sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth, then mix in the lemon juice

  2. Whip the cream until stiff and gently fold it into the yogurt mixture

  3. Line a sieve with a clean kitchen towel and place it over a bowl, then pour the yogurt mixture into the lined sieve

  4. Let the yogurt mixture rest in the refrigerator overnight until it becomes more compact

  5. Place a cake plate in the center of the sieve and invert the yogurt hemisphere onto the plate

  6. Remove the kitchen towel carefully

  7. Prepare the berries by cleaning, washing if needed, drying, and halving if large

  8. Garnish the yogurt bomb all around with the berries and place a few berries in the center

  9. Serve the yogurt bomb chilled

Tips

  1. You can garnish your yogurt bomb as desired: mango, gooseberries, kiwis, and grapes also taste delicious with this dessert

  2. If desired, top with chocolate sauce or coconut flakes for extra flavor
