Easy Light Strawberry Tiramisu Dessert
Ingredients
- 500g strawberries
- 70g sugar
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 medium egg yolks
- a pinch of salt
- 500g mascarpone cheese
- 250g quark (20% fat)
- 200g heavy cream
- 200g ladyfingers
- cocoa powder for dusting
- strawberries for garnish
Preparation
Wash, hull, and pat dry the strawberries.
Puree half of the strawberries with 20g sugar and lemon juice.
Dice the remaining strawberries into small cubes.
Beat egg yolks with the remaining sugar and salt until foamy for at least 2 minutes.
Stir mascarpone and quark briefly with a whisk until smooth.
Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the mascarpone-quark mixture.
Whip the cream until stiff and then fold it into the cream mixture.
Line the bottom of a 20x25 cm baking dish with ladyfingers.
Spread half of the strawberry puree over the ladyfingers.
Spread half of the mascarpone cream over the puree.
Sprinkle half of the diced strawberries and smooth the layer.
Distribute the remaining ladyfingers over the cream and press down lightly.
Spread the remaining strawberry puree and the remaining diced strawberries over the ladyfingers.
Spread the remaining cream over the top and smooth.
Optionally, use a baker's comb or fork to create waves in the cream.
Chill in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Just before serving, dust generously with cocoa powder and garnish with strawberries.
