Easy Beef Teriyaki Meatballs
Ingredients
- 16 oz ground beef 80/20
- 1 cup panko crumbs
- 1/4 cup green onion, finely chopped
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger or 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
Teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 cup soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 medium garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger or 1/8 tsp ground ginger
Preparation
Mix all the meatball ingredients together and form into meatballs.
Place the meatballs in a baking dish and bake for 18-23 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 160ºF and are golden brown. Remove from oven.
Prepare the teriyaki sauce by adding all of the sauce ingredients to a medium-sized pot and placing it over medium-low heat.
Cook the sauce for 8-10 minutes until it thickens.
Add the cooked meatballs to the sauce.

Pairs well with cooked rice and broccoli. Enjoy!
