Indonesian Chicken Wonton Soup
Ingredients
Wonton filling
- 350g chicken breast fillet
- 1 stalk green onion
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp mushroom stock
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp tapioca starch
- Wonton wrappers as needed
Broth
- 1.5 liters water
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp mushroom stock
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- Chicken bones as needed
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Sugar to taste
- Green onion
- Green cabbage
Preparation
Mix all wonton filling ingredients, stir until even and adjust taste, take one wonton wrapper, add filling, fold and shape as desired, repeat until all filling is used
Boil water in a pot, cook wontons until done, remove and drain
Make the broth: Boil water in a pot, add chicken bones, simmer on low heat until broth comes out, add salt, mushroom stock, sugar, pepper, and sesame oil, stir well and adjust taste
Remove chicken bones, leave only the broth, add wontons, stir well
Prepare bowls, arrange green cabbage, pour hot broth and wontons over, sprinkle with sliced green onion and fried shallots, serve warm
