Indonesian Chicken Soup
Ingredients
- 200 grams chicken
- 2 carrots
- cabbage
- green onions
- celery
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 shallots
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- as needed seasoning enhancer
- as needed pepper
- 1.2 liters water
Preparation
Grind the shallots and garlic, then fry and drain
Wash the chicken thoroughly, boil briefly and discard the water
Bring 1.2 liters of water to a boil, add the chopped chicken, fried spice mixture, salt, sugar, pepper, and seasoning enhancer
Once the chicken is cooked, add the sliced carrots and adjust the taste
When the carrots are cooked, add the cabbage, green onions, and celery; do not overcook to keep them fresh
Serve with fried shallots
