Clear Beef Shank Soup
Ingredients
- 500 grams beef shank
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 shallots
- Water as needed
- Salt as needed
- Seasoning as needed
- Ground pepper as needed
Toppings
- 5 shallots
- 3 green onions
Preparation
Fry the thinly sliced shallots until golden.
Chop the green onions.
Sauté the crushed shallots and garlic until golden and fragrant.
Add water and bring to a boil, then add the beef shank.
Add salt, seasoning, and ground pepper and cook until the beef shank is tender.
Serve with the fried shallot and green onion toppings.

Beef shank soup is chewy yet tender and low in oil.
