Traditional Indonesian Beef Soup
Ingredients
- 250 grams beef, thinly sliced
- 2 carrots, cut
- 1 daikon radish, cut
- 8 green beans, cut
- 5 leaves Chinese cabbage, cut
- 2 stalks celery, cut
- 500 ml water
- 5 cloves garlic, smashed
- 1/2 inch ginger, smashed
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- Salt to taste
- Mushroom stock to taste
Preparation
Boil water then add beef, garlic, and ginger; let it boil until the broth develops and beef is tender
Add the hard-textured vegetables first, followed by the other vegetables; season with salt, pepper, and mushroom stock, stir well
Serve
