Indonesian Boiled Wonton Soup
Ingredients
Filling mixture
- 100 grams ground chicken
- 100 grams ground shrimp
- 1 tablespoon tapioca flour
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- sliced green onions
Wonton components
- store-bought wonton wrappers
- white tofu
Broth
- chicken stock
- sesame oil
- mashed fried garlic
- smashed ginger
- salt
- pepper
- sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
- sliced green onions
Preparation
Mix all the filling ingredients together.
Prepare the wonton wrappers by adding the filling and shaping them.
Make holes in the tofu and stuff it with the filling.
Boil the wontons and stuffed tofu until cooked.
Optionally, fry some wontons.
Combine the broth ingredients and bring to a boil.
Serve with the broth, meatballs, green vegetables, and chili sauce, then sprinkle with green onions and fried shallots.
