- 1/2 cup melted butter
Filling
- 4 large apples, peeled and cut into small cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 2 tablespoons ground walnuts
- 2 teaspoons powdered sugar

Preparation
Bring a 13x9 inch high-sided baking dish. In a wide bowl, place the apples, cinnamon, raisins, walnuts, and sugar. Mix well using a plastic spoon.
Place the oven rack in the middle and preheat the oven to 180°C.
Place a sheet of phyllo dough on the table, fold it once, place 2 tablespoons of filling on the shorter end, roll twice, fold ends inward, and continue rolling to form a tight roll. Repeat with remaining sheets.
Arrange the rolls tightly in the baking dish and spread the melted butter over them.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes.
Remove from the dish, place on a serving plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve.
