Coconut Cardamom Oatmeal Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1/3 or 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tbsp coconut flakes
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch cardamom
- Pinch of salt
- 1 medjool date mashed or 1-2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 cup coconut beverage or almond milk
Preparation
In a sauce pan add coconut flakes and milk.
Bring to a simmer.
Add in remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
Allow to simmer and cook for about 3-5 minutes or until oats have thickened.
Serve in a bowl and top with your favorite fruit or nut butters.
