Vanilla Cardamom Oats with Fruit Toppings
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tablespoon ground flaxseed
- 1/2 banana, diced
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 1 cup boiling water
- Pinch of cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
In a bowl, add oats, flax, salt, cinnamon, cardamom and vanilla.
Stir to combine and then add in hot water.
Cover bowl with a plate and allow to sit for 1-2 minutes to thicken.
Once thickened, add diced banana and mix well to enhance creaminess.
Top with strawberries and extra toppings as desired.
