Vanilla Oats with Cinnamon Banana and Almond Milk
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 banana, sliced
- Berries (amount not specified)
- 1 tsp maple syrup
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes to thicken and remove from heat.
Serve the oats with additional toppings as desired.
To make stewed berries, add berries to a small saucepan and heat until fully thawed.
Add 1 tsp maple syrup, a pinch of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the berries.
Stir to combine and serve the berry mixture over the oats.
