Vanilla Oats with Cinnamon Banana and Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • Berries (amount not specified)
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Allow to cook for 3-5 minutes to thicken and remove from heat.

  3. Serve the oats with additional toppings as desired.

  4. To make stewed berries, add berries to a small saucepan and heat until fully thawed.

  5. Add 1 tsp maple syrup, a pinch of cinnamon, and a pinch of salt to the berries.

  6. Stir to combine and serve the berry mixture over the oats.
