Banana Sweetened Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Pinch cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 sliced up banana
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Pinch of salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Add ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  2. Allow to cook and thicken for about 5 minutes and remove from stove top

  3. Prep toppings then serve oats with toppings of choice

  4. Two bowls today, banana, blueberries and strawberries with a nice dollop of almond butter and maple syrup
