Cardamom Oats with Fresh Berries and Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp chia seeds or ground flax seeds
  • Pinch of cardamom
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 medjool date, diced
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring mixture to a simmer.

  2. Allow to cook and thicken while stirring for about 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and serve with your favorite toppings.
