Ginger Oatmeal with Banana and Almond Milk

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Stir as it thickens, about 3 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and serve.

  4. Enjoy with additional fruit as desired, such as berry chia jam, banana, or peanut butter.
