Creamy Cardamom Oats Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 banana, mashed or sliced

Preparation

  1. Optionally chop the rolled oats in a mini food processor for a creamier texture.

  2. Add all ingredients to a saucepan.

  3. Bring to a simmer.

  4. Stir and cook for about 3 minutes until creamy.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. Top with desired toppings.
