Ginger Banana Oatmeal with Almond Milk Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (quick oats work or even pulsing these down can make them faster to cook)
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 banana, sliced or mashed

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a simmer.

  2. Stir as it thickens for about 3 minutes.

  3. Remove from stove and serve.

  4. Enjoy with fruit as desired.
