Date Sweetened Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 medjool date, pitted and diced
  • 1 cup unsweetened soy milk
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to a simmer

  2. Allow oats to cook while stirring for about 5 minutes

  3. When done, pour into your bowl and enjoy topped with fruits and seeds

  4. I went with kiwi, blueberries, blackberries, cacao nibs, hemp hearts, and pepitas
